Surat Municipal Corporation: A woman has approached the Gujarat High Court against the demolition of a house worth lakhs of rupees belonging to a woman living with her family, including a child with 96 per cent disability, at Satyanarayannagar in Vadod area of Surat without any legal notice or advance notice by the authorities of the Surat Municipal Corporation. Justice Mona Bhatt issued notices to Surat Municipal Commissioner, Udhna South Zone Executive Engineer SD Prajapati, Deputy Engineer P B Bhoya, Assistant Engineer Chandresh Patadiya, Fenil Mehta and Mayur Patel and sought their response.
