Wagle Ki Duniya fame Sumeet Raghavan has said this on the debate about working 70 hours a week in TV.
Sumeet Raghavan on 70 Hour Work Week Idea: Actor Sumit Raghavan, who has done shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, is not in need of any recognition today. He has been active in the industry for years and has proved his acting prowess. These days, he is seen in Sony SAB's show 'Wagle Ki Duniya'. Speaking to ABP News, Sumit Raghavan spoke about the experience of working in the TV industry and the debate going on in the country about working 70 hours a week
Sumit reacted to the debate about working 70 hours a week. "It is very difficult to implement it in TV. Because the demand is very high. There are deadlines. Earlier we had a bank of 24 episodes which has now come down to 8 episodes. So our producer said that you will not get holidays this month. But all are ready to work. Because we don't have a fixed income. So the more work we do, the more income we will have. So no one complains. We don't work 24 hours. We work for 12 hours and sometimes it is less than 12 hours. We come in the 9 o'clock shift and start shooting at 10 o'clock. We close work at 9 p.m. And when you enjoy shooting and you have a team like Wagle Ki Duniya, there is no complaining and exhaustion.
struggle?
Sumit said, 'I am always motivated. Struggle is very important in life. If you get everything in a silver spoon sitting at home, then you do not value it. I am very happy. When I don't have work, I get equally upset that I don't have work. My struggle has always been to do better work than me. Wagle has been around for 5 years. Even today, everyone is working very hard. It's very important to have a good team. I don't get tired so quickly. We work 27-28 days a month. We got our last leave on January 15 and we are working without leave. And maybe we are not going to get a break in the next 2 weeks, but still we are persevered. We are very happy with the love the audience is giving us.
How did you get the first show?
