Weather: South-westerly humid winds bring mercury down to 32 degrees Celsius, highest in the state

Vadodara was the hottest city in the state at 32 degrees Celsius on Tuesday due to the arrival of southwesterly humid winds from the Arabian Sea. It may be mentioned that the day temperature is likely to drop as northerly winds start from Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, at present, the cyclonic circulation is active over parts of south Rajasthan, due to which there is a possibility of winds from the north in Gujarat, including Vadodara. In the next 24 hours, the minimum temperature in most of the districts of the state may fall by two to four degrees. After that, there is a possibility of gradual increase in temperature. The city recorded a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.4 degrees Celsius. While winds were blowing at a speed of 5 km from the west direction. Humidity was recorded at 65 per cent in the morning and 26 per cent in the evening.
