The 500-year-old vad located in Kantharpur village of Dahegam taluka of the district was identified as Mini Kabir Vad by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from this, a grant of Rs 15.7 crore has been allocated to develop Kantharpura Vad as a tourist destination. The secretary of the holy shrine visited Rubaru to take a site report of the ongoing work in Kantharpur Vadana area. The development works of Kantharpur Vad area will be completed in the next year 2025. Several places in the district have been included to develop the ancient sites as tourist destinations. The 500-year-old vad, located in Kantharpur village of Dahegam taluka of one of the districts, was identified as Mini Kabir Vad by the present Prime Minister and the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi during his visit. However, in order to save Vad as well as to develop the entire area as a tourist destination, the present Prime Minister and the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi had announced. Various development works are being carried out in the area around Kantharpur Vad. For which a grant of Rs 15.7 crore has been allocated. Therefore, the work being done for the development of Kantharpur Vad and surrounding areas reached how far and how much work will be completed in the coming time. Ramesh Merja, secretary of the Holy Pilgrimage Development Board, visited the area being developed as a tourist destination to study whether more activities are worth doing or not. All the agencies were visited under the development plant. On this occasion, officials including Taluka Development Officer, Mamlatdar as well as people were present.
