ST bus conductor and bus driver fall asleep: After making two trips, the conductor-driver's bag was stolen while resting under the shed of the leaf, EBTM machine, cash and rs 19,000 worth of matta were stolen.

After making two trips from Panigate Central Bus Depot in Vadodara to Varsada village in the taluka, the ST bus driver and conductor slept in the shed of Patra at night. When the eyes were opened in the morning, the driver and conductor's bags were missing. They searched the vicinity as the bag was not visible but lodged a complaint at Desar police station against the unidentified smuggler as the bag was not found. The Desar police have launched an investigation based on the complaint. The two fell asleep in bed under a shed of leaves According to the complaint lodged by Dharmendrasinh Himmatsinh Rana at Desar police station, he has been working as a conductor at panigate ST depot in Vadodara for over a year. He joined the job on the afternoon of February 3 and was allotted an EBTM machine from the Vadodara Central Bus Station office. The bus had come to Bhutdizhampa bus stand to go on the Varsada night route. He made two trips from Vadodara to Savli and then parked the bus next to the Hanumanji temple in Varsada village and slept with the driver in the open under the shade of the leaf. When the eyes were opened in the morning, the bag disappeared from there. He had an EBTM machine in his bag, Rs 2,500 in cash for the tickets purchased by the passengers, Rs 1,400 of the conductor's own and the necessary documents. His and the bus driver's bag were not found when the conductor's eyes opened at 5.45 am. Nothing was found even in search of the surroundings. In this incident, a total of Rs 19,500 worth of goods, including the machine, rodak and others, went missing. In this regard, the conductor lodged a complaint against the unidentified thief at Desar police station. The police have launched an investigation into the incident that triggered a stir in the village.
