In Vejalpur, a 36-year-old man was killed when he opened fire with a licensed revolver in the presence of his friends, including a woman, in an inebriated state. According to the complaint lodged by Saptdeep Vaid (24), a resident of Mangaldeep Flat in Vejalpur, he has been employed as the driver of Digvijaysingh alias Bholo Dilipsinh Rajput for 3-4 years. On March 10, 2024, at 6.30 p.m., When Saptdeep, along with owner Digvijay Singh and Yash Padhiyar, left for the wedding of friend Chetan's sister in Rajoda, the trio stopped the car at 8.30 pm on the outskirts of Rajoda. As Digvijay Singh was drunk, the clothes were damaged as they fell into the water in the field coming towards the car. So he canceled going to the wedding and asked him to go home, everyone came back to Ahmedabad. At 12.30 am, Digvijay Singh said, "My friend Khushali has to be taken from her house. All of them came to Digvijay Singh's house, both Digvijay and Khushali were sitting in the house and Saptdeep and Yash were sitting outside the room. Meanwhile, Digvijay Singh asked Saptdeep to bring the revolver from the car. After this, Digvijay Singh loaded the revolver and put it on his lap in a filmy manner, saying that nothing would happen, pressed the trigger, although there was no firing. When the trigger was pressed for the second time, the bullet went across the loins. Friends told him not to joke, but he didn't believe anyone. Vejalpur PI R.M. Chauhan said that the incident took place on March 10. For thorough investigation, the revolver, bullet and skull of the deceased were sent to the FSL for scientific analysis.
