Vadodara: A dispute broke out between a retired Air Force officer and his wife over an ongoing property dispute in Manjalpur. The wife and the security guard accompanying her as well as the youth who came to help were injured when the enraged husband opened fire with his twelve-bore rifle.
According to police sources, 79-year-old Harvinder Sharma, a resident of Shriji Dham Society near Manjalpur Tulsidham Char Road, has retired from the Air Force. He had been having a property dispute with his wife Neelamben for years. This morning, after a quarrel between the husband and wife, the husband and son-in-law together threatened to kill Neelamben and care taker Bhumi Prajapati by throwing them out of the house. In this regard, Neelamben lodged a complaint at Manjalpur police station.
