Date Length: Date of registration extended as farmers are not ready to sell wheat at support price

Bhaskar News | In order to ensure that the farmers of Bharuch district get a nutritious price, the government procures wheat at minimum support price through the Gujarat State Civil Supplies Corporation. Therefore, the online registration of farmers who want to sell wheat at support price was conducted locally at the village level through VCE from January 1 to March 16. However, the date of online registration has been extended till May 31 as not a single farmer has registered. In order to register it, the farmers will have to bring necessary proof such as copy of Aadhaar card, copy of advanced village sample 7/12 8/A, example with talati's signature coin on crop sowing in village sample 12 if not in entry 7/12 or 8A, bank account details in the name of the farmer such as a copy of bank passbook or canceled cheque. Farmers who have registered for procurement at support price will be informed about the purchase through SMS. At the time of purchase, the farmer will have to keep his Aadhaar card with the identity card. The quantity will be procured only from the biometric authentication of the farmer' landlord.
