Grand celebration of Ram Navami across Gujarat, a 7 km long procession was taken out in Ahmedabad
Today, the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram is being celebrated across Gujarat. Special pujas, aartis and religious programmes were organised in various temples of the state. At that time, a grand procession was organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal in Ahmedabad city, which started from the love gate of the city and passed through areas including Dariapur, Shahpur for a total of 7 kilometers. Apart from this, a grand procession of Ram Navami was also organized in Vadodara city
The procession, which started in Ahmedabad, was flagged off from the Saryu Temple Prem Darwaza. Akhada kartabajas, elephants, camel carts, DJs, weight congregations and various religious tableaux joined the yatra. The attractive feats of the kartabajas won the hearts of the people, while even in the scorching heat, the devotees swayed to the rhythm of the DJ
This procession started from Saryu Mandir and passed through Daryapur Darwaza, Wadigam, Tambu Chowki, Jordan Road, Teenbatti via Ghikanta, Ghikanta Police Chowki, Dudhwali Pol, Badi Amam, Nani Amam, Modern High School, Naipol, Nagoriwal, Bhoiwala, Halim's Khadki, Shahpur Char Rasta, Dr. Ambedkar Chowk passed through Madhupura Fire Station, Durga Chowk, Lokhand Bazar, Madhupura Police Station, Hanumanpura, Parmanandni Chali, Dhobighat and ended at Lala Kaka Hall. More than 50,000 Shri Ram devotees participated in the procession
Dariyapur area also witnessed grand celebrations on the occasion of Ram Navami by the VHP and a separate Ram Navami procession was organised, which returned to daryapur area. There was a lot of enthusiasm among ram devotees about this yatra too. Various costumes, decorations and cultural dance groups including Lord Shri Ram's chariot, 2 elephants, 2 horses, 10 open jeeps, 20 camel lorries, 5 tractors, 20 bhajan mandalis, 10 akhadas, 70 Nashik dhols and 3 DJs participated in the procession
VHP is celebrating Ram Navami across the country. In Gujarat too, a procession has been organized by the VHP in every district, every block and every board, through which the message of Lord Ram is being conveyed to the house of every Ram devotee. The main procession, which started at 3 pm in Ahmedabad, continued till late in the evening, in which thousands of people joined. A similar grand procession was organised in Vadodara in which a large number of Ram devotees enthusiastically participated. This year's Ram Navami celebrations and processions had a special significance after the pran pratishtha of the Ram temple in Ayodhya
