The Valsad district police department had carried out operation Milap to trace the abducted children and missing persons in Valsad district for the last 10 months. Under this Operation Milap, in 10 months, a team of distaff of all the police stations of the district, with the help of a team of preliminary inquiries and technical surveillance of the missing persons, a total of 112 people under the age of 18 years and 288 malis who went missing above the age of 18 years, were abducted from 2008 to 2024. Valsad police have been successful in finding a total of 287 persons, including the most missing or abducted children this year. Under the guidance of Valsad SP Dr. Karanraj Vaghela, a team of dstaff and MOB of all the police stations of Valsad district was tasked with the task of tracing the missing children/ girls and individuals who have been missing/ abducted in the last 16 years in the district. Teams of all disstaffes and MOBs of Valsad district, with the help of technical surveillance and informants, made efforts to trace the missing persons and the abducted children. The disstaff team and the MOB team which were searching the complaint papers and statements of the witnesses at the time as well as the address shown by them were continued. In many real cases, it was noticed that missing/abducted children and persons (adults) were living outside the state of Gujarat. In all these cases, the Valsad district police team was successful in finding the missing or abducted children with the help of a team of nearby police immediately after it was found that the missing or abducted interested were out of the state. In just 10 months, a team of Valsad district police found 36 children and 76 girls, aged 18, and managed to trace a total of 112 abducted minors. While 182 women above 18 years of age and 106 men have been found, a total of 288 missing persons above the age of 18 years have been traced by the Valsad police team. In the last 16 years, valsad district police has succeeded in tracing a total of 400 people, including 112 minors who were abducted in Valsad district and 288 of more than 18 years who went missing, in 10 months. Under Operation Milap, a team of Valsad district police has handed over all the people to his family. Valsad police have been successful in conducting necessary counselling of missing persons. A team of Valsad district police also took the help of sarpanches and members.
On the basis of contacting the sarpanches of different districts of the country, the members of the village, the local police station, as well as the advertisement / informer of all the missing / abducted children / persons investigated by technical sources and human intelligence, on the basis of which different teams were formed and the campaign was continued to find the missing / abducted children / persons in different states. In this campaign. In a short span of just 10 months from January to October 2024, a total of 112 missing/abducted children/girls and a total of 288 men and women above 18 years of age have been found to be a total of 400.
