For this, before December 31, all the hotels in Mumbai will be examined by the fire brigade of the Municipal Corporation. Deputy Commissioner Prashant Gaekwad said that if there is no fire extinguisher in it, then a notice will be issued and instructions will be given to install the machine immediately. Parties are held in a large number of hotels in Mumbai to bid farewell to the ending year and welcome the new year. There are a large number of young people in it. There is also a facility to make food items. However, if the necessary care is not taken, there is a risk of loss of life and loss of money due to a disaster like fire. Therefore, necessary precautions are being taken by the municipal corporation. Now, notices will be issued to hotels that do not have a machinery by ensuring that all the hotels in Mumbai are running with fire tenders before December 31. There are about 40 lakh property in Mumbai. A no-objection certificate is issued only if fire fighting machinery is deployed in the building allowing skyscrapers. After this, a fire audit of the building has to be done and a certificate of fire fighting machine being capable has to be submitted every six months by filling form B. It is mandatory for the owner or the person residing there to submit Form B to the fire brigade in case the machinery is capable by conducting an audit on behalf of the eligible and competent body. Otherwise, action is taken as per the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006. Power and water cutting proceedings can be taken after legal proceedings. A regular check is carried out by the fire brigade to see if fire fighting machines are functional in mumbai's buildings, establishments, hospitals and offices.
