Vadodara: The Crime Branch has arrested an agent who allegedly extorted money from a youth in the name of a US student visa and informed the Chhani police.
Saumilbhai Patel, a resident of Dashrath, approached Bhavin Hareshkumar Parikh (Meghanagar, Waghodia Road), who works as a student visa in the US, for a student visa and he received Rs. 1.5 lakh and documents as process fee.
When the young man did not get satisfactory answers about the process of the visa fee, he became suspicious and during the investigation, the agent did not process the visa, so he demanded the return of the money as well as the documents.
