Petrol pump sealed in Iqbalgarh: Mamlatdar takes action after license not renewed from 2022, will remain closed till collector's order

The petrol pump on the highway in Iqbalgarh, the main commercial hub of Amirgarh taluka, has been sealed by the mamlatdar. The action has been taken as not enough documents of the petrol pump were found during the search operation conducted by the mamlatdar. Ameergarh Mamlatdar B.D. Kateria informed that the license of these petrol pumps has not been renewed since 2022. The petrol pump owner said the process of renewal of the licence was underway. However, the petrol pump has been sealed as it could not produce enough documents. The mamlatdar further said that all the documents recovered during the investigation will be submitted to the Banaskantha collector. The petrol pump will remain sealed till the collector's order. The action may cause inconvenience to the people of the area as the petrol pump was functioning in the area for years.
