The Gangaur festival was celebrated in a grand manner by the Dhat Maheshwari Samaj in Maninagar area of Ahmedabad. Gangaur is an important festival of Rajasthani culture which holds special significance especially for married women. In this festival, Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati are worshiped. Members of the Dhat Maheshwari Samaj traditionally celebrated the festival. Members of the society gathered on the occasion and performed mass worship and followed the traditional rituals.
