Ebrahim Rezaei, the spokesperson for the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, shared details of the closed session. Rezaei highlighted Major General Hossein Salami’s “confidence in Iran’s capabilities.” Ebrahim Rezaei, also said that the elimination of the “Zionist regime” is still a priority, referring to Israel. Meanwhile, IRGC officials reported that commanders were angrily blaming each other for the fall of Assad’s regime and the resulting loss of Iranian influence in the region.
