After celebrating the festivals of Diwali, the festival of lights in the district, including Patan city, the traders resumed trade and business from Wednesday in the unseen auspicious moment of Labhpancham in Vikram Samvat 2081. After the mini-vacation of Diwali in all the cities of the district, ganja bazaars also resurfaced with the muhurat of Shri Sawaya on Labhpancham. From this day, traders start their business and open shops, which leads to happiness and prosperity by the grace of Mother Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. On this day, along with Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, Sharda, the goddess of learning, is also worshiped. So on Wednesday, people got up early in the morning, took a bath etc. and offered water to the Sun God and started the business employment by worshiping Lord Ganesha Shiva in the auspicious moment.
