'As Soon as I went in, i saw my friend's body': 'Collected pieces of dead bodies from the field', the first to arrive at the Deesa blast told Bhaskar a painful story

A massive explosion took place on Tuesday morning after a fire broke out at Deepak Traders, an illegal fireworks factory on Dhunwa Road in Deesa. In which 21 laborers of Madhya Pradesh were killed. The sound of the explosion was so loud that it was heard for about 9 kilometers. At the time of the incident, the two young men who first reached the factory and saved the lives of the people and pulled out the bodies narrated the painful story to Divya Bhaskar. I rushed to the factory as soon as the blast occurred Divya Bhaskar's team spoke to the young man who first went to the factory during the time the whole incident took place. Harishbhai said, "In the morning, I was going to work. Deepak reached near the gate of the firecrackers and suddenly there was a blast in the factory. So I ran to the factory. Where the manager had two girls who I pulled out and parked near the gate. After which I broke the lock of the gate. 'I pulled out the body of a young man whose intestines had gone out' He further said that I had found the father of both the girls and pulled them out. However, there was a lot of smoke so I could not see anything. I had taken the girl's father out of the gate and stopped a bike and put it on it and sent it for treatment. After that, the mother of both the girls was found and she was also stopped by the rickshaw and sent to the hospital for treatment with my mother-in-law. After which I pulled out a four-year-old girl who was buried under the debris of the dhaba. I also pulled out the body of a young man from Deesa, whose intestines had gone out. When I went inside, a person was found in a completely burnt condition without clothes, which I also took out and sent for treatment. 'Someone's head, someone's hand and someone's feet' "Two months ago, we used to go to the factory. However, for the last two months, we were not allowed to go to the factory. When we were pulling out the bodies. At that time only the organs of the body were seen. Someone had a head, someone's hand and someone's feet. The entire body was not seen at all. 'My family and I had not eaten anything for two days after the incident' He further said, "One of the deceased was a special friend of mine who came out and the blast took place there and he died. My family and I have not eaten anything for two days after this incident. I went inside to rescue. As soon as I jumped, my friend's body was found in front of me. Who lived here. Whose parents came and cried and told me to get my son out. I said your son is healthy. I didn't tell the truth. In our field, some people's limbs were lying, some had intestines, some feet and some fingers. 'I pulled out four people alive' He further said that Bhadako had grown very big. The sound was heard for nine kilometres. There was no one when the first explosion took place, only I was alone, where I went straight inside and pulled out two girls. One of them was four years old and the other was two years old. I pulled out four people alive and pulled out as many as four bodies. As soon as I went inside, there was nothing visible, only smoke. 'I thought at first that Said DP might have cracked' Babubhai, who lives near the factory and helped pull out the body, told Divya Bhaskar, "In the morning, when I went to the school to drop the boy, I was told by a person that there was a big explosion near your house. So at first, I thought that the SAID DP must have cracked. So I reached there quickly and came home and saw that there was an explosion in the factory. 'Pieces of corpses were wrapped together' He further said that when he came here, he saw that the dhaba was broken and 21 people were trapped. In which the bodies of 10 to 11 people were broken into pieces. We had gathered the pieces of the bodies together. He called a man from a nearby farm and ordered a tractor trolley and sent the bodies in ambulances. From this field, we had collected pieces of bodies by weaving them. 'As many people as they appeared to have caught them and pulled them out' He further said, "When I came, there was smoke here. No one could go in. Don't feel like going in. The debris was half hanging. When the smoke came out after breaking the windows and shutters. After which the locals here reached inside and caught hold of as many people as they could see and pulled them out. 'JCB also didn't work, so a crane had to be called' He further said that all the bodies were kept outside the gate. Then from there we sent the bodies. Stones were lying on them so that nothing was visible. We had pulled out as many bodies as we could see. At first the GCB was called but it did not work, later a big crane had to be called. The bodies could be removed when all the debris was removed. Such a scene was not even seen, but for the sake of human religion, we took out the bodies and some people alive. Evidence was found that cooking was done at the same place where the liquor was made. A team of SIT arrived on Thursday to investigate the illegal fireworks factory that killed 21 people in Deesa. After a meeting with the local administration and police, the team reached the Deepak Traders fireworks factory on Dhuwa Road. All the debris was kept in the open space next to the gate by running gcb and hitachi machine continuously for two days. The SIT officials closely inspected the factory and went to different rooms to check the explosive material lying there. The team members had the shutter raised which was revealed to be cooking inside. There was a pile of bread prepared on the mattress as well as the vegetables cooked in the cooker. The investigation of the seat has been started from today. Seat head Bhavin Pandya said, "The incident is very sad. The state government has formed a special team for the case. Banaskantha's first fireworks factory after the Deesa blast case has been vacated overnight after the Deesa blast incident. The bombs were being made in a farm away from Raner village in Kankrej taluka. When the Bhaskar team reached here, the farmers in the vicinity sewn their mouths in fear. Some young children were playing here. He said that earlier the labourers who make firecrackers have gone to their native places to do Holi. Haven't come yet. Another child said, "Two days ago, a truck came and it was loaded with all the luggage." More than 20 rooms have been built in the field When Bhaskar looked inside the factory, he came to know that more than 20 rooms had been built in the field to keep the firecrackers and different rooms were also built for the laborers to stay. Red fire safety bottles were found on all the rooms here. In the factory located in the field, a high pucca wall was built from all sides and the main gate was made of iron. A platform has been created to prepare the goods of firecrackers. And the water hose is also made at present, all the work is closed for the last fifteen days as the laborers have gone on Holi. A local of the village said that this farm of the village was sold by someone else and used to make cotton bombs in it. There were Hindi-speaking labourers working here but the work has been stopped for some time. When Bhaskar checks in Raner gram panchayat, the factory speaks in the name of Ashwinbhai in non-agriculture on survey number 385 of the gram panchayat. The mystery of the factory being closed by emptying the goods overnight created a mystery When Bhaskar checked at the district collector's office, it was found that in 2022, the factory was transferred in the name of Ashwinbhai to a palanpur-based businessman. But the closure of the factory by emptying the goods overnight has created a mystery." 'I built the first fireworks factory in Banaskantha' Speaking to Ashwinbhai, Ashwinbhai said, "I first built a fireworks factory in Banaskantha with the approval of the government. After two years of running, I did not mind it, so I stopped and stayed closed for six months. Then Pravinbhai Kachoriya, a firecracker trader from Palanpur, bought it and his business would be going on there. I do not know. Now I run a clothing showroom."
