On November 29, the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's armed wing, claimed responsibility for a shooting near Ariel in the West Bank. The attack targeted a bus carrying Israeli soldiers and settlers, leaving eight people injured, including three seriously. The assailant, 46-year-old Samir Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, ambushed the bus, shattering its windshield with over a dozen bullet holes. Israeli forces neutralised the assailant near the Ariel settlement. Medics recovered 19 bodies from northern Nuseirat and more fatalities were reported across Gaza.
