in Gujarat more then10 thousand gram panchayats election has been announced, On Monday, the State Election Commission announced the date of elections for 10,879 gram panchayats in the state in December 2021. Voting will take place on December 19 from the ballot paper and counting will take place on December 21. According to the information received, the announcement for this election will be published on November 29.
According to the information, more than 17 provincial officers will be responsible for this election and arranging voting,
Voting in Gram Panchayat elections will be by ballot paper and not by EVM. At the same time, Gram Panchayat elections will be held as per the guidelines of CORONA
The state government has approved the division of 153 gram panchayats.
Candidates can fill up the candidature form till 4th December, 6th Dec. Form withdrawal deadline
The State Election Commission announcement that the candidates have nomination papers can be filed till 4th December. The election forms will be verified by December 6. And December 7 will be the last date for withdrawal.
The code of conduct will be applicable in the villages where elections are being held from today. There are 2 corer 6 lakh 53 thousand voters in 10879 gram panchayats in the state, elections will be held at 27,085 polling stations in these villages. However, it is learned that elections will not be held in the areas where Samaras Gram Panchayat will be held.
