Mukhyamantri Paushtik Alpahar Yojana: The Government of Gujarat has decided to launch 'Mukhyamantri Poshtik Alpahar Yojana' under the Well-nourished Gujarat Mission to realize the goal of 'Padhai Bhi, Poshan Bhi'. Under this new scheme, about 41 lakh students of 32,277 schools in the state will be given nutritious alpahar at the time of prayer before the commencement of education work in the school. But the state government has not given information about when it will implement the scheme.
These students will be given nutritious alpahar in small recesses
Lunch is served in government and grant-in-aid primary schools in 52 talukas of tribal areas and 29 developing talukas of non-tribal areas of the state.
