Vishwakarma Jayanti celebrations in Vadodara: Vishwakarma Samaj organises procession and Ramcharit Manas recitation with the message of eye donation

As part of the grand celebration of Vishwakarma Pragatya Diwas by Shri Vishwakarma Samaj in Vadodara, special programmes have been organized at Shri Vishwakarma Mandir, Sayaji Township Road from 9-10 February 2025. Therefore, on the morning of February 9, Lord Vishwakarma was seated on a horse cart and a grand procession was taken out. The procession started from Vishwakarma Temple and returned to the temple again after passing through Sayaji Township Road, Kamla Nagar Lake, Sardar Estate and Khodiyar Nagar. In this year's procession, banners with messages like 'Chakshudan Mahadan' and 'Make Naitradan your family tradition' were displayed to create awareness about eye donation in the society. Shri Vishwakarma Pujan-Havan and Mahaprasad have also been organized in the festival. In particular, an unbroken recitation of Shri Ramcharit Manas Granth has been started by The Hanuman Mandal. There was an atmosphere of kirtan-bhajan with flags and flags in the procession, in which a large number of members of vishwakarma society and townspeople enthusiastically joined.
