The government has said that during the flight, passengers will be able to use Internet services through Wi-Fi only after reaching an altitude of 3,000 meters. The central government order said that passengers can use electronic devices only on aircraft when the altitude reaches 3000 meters. The Central Government has given these instructions in its notified new rule.

Earlier in 2020, the government allowed airlines operating in India to provide free Wi-Fi to passengers during the flight. After this, restrictions on passengers at the time of flight were removed. The Ministry of Civil Aviation had said that passengers will now be able to use Wi-Fi in flights. But for this, two conditions have to be followed.
