Action: Four youths arrested for selling drugs in Mumbai and Pune

The crime branch in Mumbai and Pune has taken major action against drug trafficking. Three highly educated youths have been arrested. A drug dealer from Mumbai has been taken into custody. The crime branch took action in Mumbai and Pune on charges of drug trafficking. Four of them were taken into custody with narcotics. Three youths from Pune are highly educated and the accused arrested in Mumbai is a drug peddler, police said. The issue has come to the fore again due to the increasing drug abuse habits and illegal sale among the youth of the state. The crime branch is investigating the case further. In Pune, the Anti-Narcotics Branch of the Crime Branch arrested three highly educated youths Anshul Santosh Mishra (27, Buldana), Aarsh Uday Vyas (25, Mumbai) and Piyush Sharad Ingle (22, Chinchwad) for selling narcotics in sinhagad road premises. Investigations have revealed that the trio was selling narcotics like Ozikush ganja, mephedrone and LSD to the youth in their group. Police seized 251 grams of Ozikush ganja, 15 grams of mephedrone and 62 milligrams of LSD worth Rs 19.45 lakh from them. Anshul has a BA degree while Arsh was employed with an airline. Piyush has completed a course in computer. Meanwhile, a team of Mumbai Police's Crime Branch 6 arrested furqan Ansari (28) from Gautam Nagar premises in Govandi. The 1910 Spasmo Proxyvon Plus, Nitrazepam and Clonazepam tablets used for intoxication were seized from him.
