Elderly ward becomes functional: The elderly ward has become functional in the state's only government hospital in Porbandar

In order to provide treatment to the elderly patients on the ground floor in the government hospital, the old age ward was started in 2017 at the government Bhavsinhji Hospital in Porbandar, the only state in the entire state. In comparison, 97 more patients have been registered in the ward this year. The state government has been making efforts to provide various facilities for the purpose of providing more and more people in the government hospital. The state health department had decided to start the bhavsinhji government hospital in Porbandar for the first time in the entire state under the elderly ward pilot project. The pilot project of the elderly ward has been very successful and 11 beds have been made available for female and 11 beds have been made available for male patients in this ward. The elderly ward working in Bhavsinhji Government Hospital of Porbandar is found to be filled with beds for permanent beds. However, compared to last year 2023, 97 more patients have been reported in the year 2024. In the elderly ward working at Bhavsinhji Government Hospital in Porbandar, blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, gas, acidity, kidney disease, cancer, heart disease, anaemia, abdominal pain, TB patients, elderly patients are given treatment for dengue, malaria, jaundice, thyroid, paralysis, etc.
