Union Home Minister Amit Shah's grand roadshow in Sanskari Nagari raises questions about whether the ECI guidelines can be applied to the ruling party?

At 7.10 pm, Amit Shah reached the venue of the roadshow, and the roadshow was started. The roadshow started from Ranmukteshwar temple in the Pratapnagar area of the city and proceed towards Gendigate and Mandvi in the old city areas of Vadodara. Mr. Shah head towards the Nyay Mandir before the culmination of the roadshow at Khanderao Market crossroads. The Vadodara city unit of the BJP geared up for the event with hoardings and stage to welcome Mr. Shah with performances as well as Rangoli and other decoration on the route of the roadshow.

A team of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) cleaned the local city roads early in the morning and carried out beautification work. Local citizens gave us the update that such road shows need to be held every day or once a week. This will clean the roads of the local city and clean the surrounding areas every day or once a week and remove the rule of filth.

The ruling party used the BJP flags, hoardings and stage installed in the public places. The ECI guidelines updated to prohibit the display of political party literature or material in public places, but the ECI team in Vadodara acted like Dhritarashtra (a blind person). Due to the absence of problems and no registered cases, the ECI team is not required to take any action. The citizen of Vadodara assumed that the ECI team of Vadodara act like a B-team of the ruling party.

The ruling party has requested that all its ward units and district personnel ensure a good turnout for the event. The roadshow was approximately three kilometers long. The event concluded at 8:15pm. Floats were prepared on more than 25 different stages during the three-kilometer roadshow.
