Dhruv has become the wicket-keeper to take the most catches in an innings of the Duleep Trophy. In this case, he has equaled the record of former veteran Indian player and wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni took 7 catches in an innings playing for East Zone in the 2004-05 Duleep Trophy. Now Dhruv has taken 7 catches. Sunil Benjamin is at number three in this list. He took 6 catches while playing for Central Zone in the 1973-74 season. Earlier, Dhoni had broken Benjamin's record. Now Dhruv has equalled his record.

Debut in the Indian team at the age of just 23

The Test series between India and Bangladesh will start from September 19. Dhruv may get a chance in this series. Dhruv has already made his Test debut in the Indian team at the age of just 23. But so far he has not got a chance to play in many matches. Dhruv has so far scored 190 runs in 4 Test innings for India. He made his Test debut against England in February this year. Dhruv has also played 2 T20 matches for India.
