COVID-19 and Expenses of Government of Gujarat:

Today, I would like to give you the details of the expenditure incurred by the government of Gujarat on COVID19 in the last two years. Do you know how much money the government of Gujarat has spent on Covid-19 in the last two financial years, i.e.19-20, 20-21, and 21-22 (till September 2021)? You can't imagine that the government of Gujarat has spent ₹ 4368.77 crore on COVID-19. Which does not include the cost of vaccination, so the cost of vaccination is given by the Government of India.
Now the question arises that if the first covid-19 case came to Gujarat on 19th March 2020 and the year ends on 31st March 2020, then the expenditure of ₹54 crore 46 lakh in 12 days is reasonable? ₹54 crore 46 lakh has been spent in 12 days, which is difficult to say whether it is reasonable or not. In the year 20-21 i.e. from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021, ₹1729.93 crore has been spent on Covid-19. The cost of one day is about ₹5 (five) crore. In the year 21-22 (till 31st September 2021) i.e. from 1st April 2021 to 31st September 2021 an expenditure of ₹2584.38 crore has been incurred by the Government of Gujarat behind Covid-19. The cost of one day is about ₹14 (fourteen) crores. While 80% of the people in Gujarat have an income of ₹30 thousand or less and the Gujarat government spends ₹5 (five) crores per day in the first year 20-21 and ₹14 (fourteen) crores per day in year 21-22 in the name of COVID19. May God bless every citizen of Gujarat with such development? Now let's talk about how many cases of covid19 came in Gujarat at that time, till 31st October 2021 around 8 lakh 26 thousand covid19 patients were cured and around 10 thousand covid19 patients died. The cost of ₹4368.77 crore is reasonable for about 9 lakh people, the cost of ₹ 4368.77 crore and Expenditure Bills has been passed by the Health Department of the Government of Gujarat.
Now I am giving you detailed information about where Gujarat government spent ₹4368.77 crore. Drugs end consumables ₹872.20 crore, ₹660.50 crore for diagnosis and kits, ₹636.60 crore for Covid-19 designated hospitals, ₹399.35 crore for emergency Covid-19 relief, ₹389.65 crore for human resources, ₹276.97 crore on patient accommodation and food, ₹255.60 crore on logistics, ₹247.40 crore on equipment. ₹100.31 crore on others (ETC.), ₹88.27 crore on PPE kit, ₹87.78 crore on infrastructure, ₹62.41 crore on publicity and dissemination, ₹61.52 crore on masks, ₹32.31 crore on Dhanvantari Rath, ₹21.80 crore on Implementation, ₹5.61 crore for Information Technology, ₹3.29 crore for transport assistance, and ₹43 lakh for training. The government of Gujarat highlighted ₹43 lakh as training expenditure, but other expenditure of ₹100.31 crore (details not available) is shown in the other categories. It is very difficult to define under the True or false terminology. Now in a state where 80% of the people have a monthly income of ₹30 thousand or less, the expenditure of ₹4368.77 crore that too on covid-19 is worth? Is it called development?
Due to ₹4368.77 crore covid-19 expenditure, our government bureaucrats/officers, leaders who are educated, patriotic and leaders who are taking Gujarat on the path of progress, the development belongs to the leaders, the development of the ruling party but the question comes to my heart that is it a development of citizens of Gujarat? What is your thought? Is it the development that is the dictator of the beginning of the days of corruption? I think people should pay a little attention to this development oriented ruling party, like your children where they spend home income if you don't pay attention to it, the children get lost similarly, how the Government of Gujarat is spending public income (collected as tax) If you do not pay attention to the expenditure, the government will wander and your future will wander.

Good information to certain extent but that is not exhaustive if can't reconcile this data with actual cost and count to buy items and expenses like 660.50 crores in diagnosis and kit...will you be able to highlight the govt. price to buy each kit. Govt servants always be part of corruption in getting margin & cut in all buying. Where is lokpal?.
