Fifteen of the 20 accused involved in the Harni boat case in Vadodara had filed discharge applications in the court seeking discharge. The court rejected the petition and ordered the trial of the crime.
The children of Sunrise School on Waghodia Road had gone to Harni Lakezone for a picnic. It happened on 18 - 0 1 - 2024 . Two teachers and 12 children were killed in the accident that occurred during boating. Fifteen of the 20 accused arrested in the crime had pleaded before the court to be discharged from the case saying they were innocent.
