Why a strong-willed T.T. Krishnamachari quit the government for the second time

He became the Union Finance Minister in August 1956 and quit in February 1958 following the controversy over the Mundhra affair. In September 1963, he was brought back to the Finance Ministry. In 1965, he resigned after the Prime Minister requested the Chief Justice of India to make an informal inquiry into charges of favouritism against him
