While ankleshwar B division police carried out helmet checking on major roads including Mahavir Turning, Pratin Chowki, Walia Chowki, etc. Teams from each police station under the guidance of district police chief Mayur Chavda are checking four roads. Fines are being collected from all two-wheeler drivers including women. The drive will be conducted by the police for a week. As many as 20 students of Bharuch College had to pay Rs 500 for not having a helmet while appearing for the exam. It is noteworthy.
