Porbandar: A youth living in Kharwad area of Porbandar consumed poisonous medicine at his house and the family of the youth came to know about the incident and he was taken to the government hospital in Porbandar for treatment. In Porbandar district and the city, there are frequent incidents of attempts to commit suicide by consuming poisonous medicine. Even today, another youth tried to commit suicide by consuming poisonous medicine. A young man named Bhadrecha Jignesh Bhimsi (U.37), a resident of Kharwad area of Porbandar, had consumed poisonous medicine at his house. The young man had taken such a step as he had demanded lakhs of rupees. The youth was shifted to civil hospital for treatment.
