Ahmedabad's Narayana Hospital has taken a unique initiative for cancer awareness. The hospital in association with the Amor Design Institute organised a special fashion show in which cancer survivors walked the ramp with confidence. At the event, cancer survivors, doctors and students of The Amor Design Institute walked the ramp wearing clothes designed by the students. Each garment contained a message of hope and inspiration along with a message of cancer awareness. The surgical oncology team. Manish Sadhwani said that cancer treatment is physically and mentally challenging, but patients need to know that they are not alone. The hospital's facility director Hemant Bhatnagar said they believe in treating the patient thoroughly and not just the disease. Sameer Palkiwala, director of Amor Design Institute, said cancer affects the body as well as the mind and soul. Such programs communicate hope and positivity to other patients.
