Junagadh police have busted illegal liquor smuggling from Oghadnagar in Joshipara area. The police conducted a raid on the basis of information and arrested the mother-son duo. The accused have been identified as Hinaben Sanjaybhai Rever and her son Raj Sanjaybhai Revere. Police have seized 69 bottles of Indian-made foreign English liquor from his residential house. The total seized items include liquor bottles (worth Rs 25,421), a motorcycle (worth Rs 30,000) and two mobile phones (worth Rs 15,000). The total value of the issue is Rs. 70,421. Another accused in the case, Rajubhai Rabari, a resident of Pancheshwar area, is still absconding. He is learnt to have supplied the consignment of liquor. PSI Pareshbhai Sangani and his team have carried out this successful operation during patrolling. Police have registered a case under the Gujarat Prohibition Act against the accused and further investigation is underway.
