Ahmedabad: Two youths were killed on the spot after a speeding Creta car flew in the air and collided with an Activa coming from the opposite direction.

Drunk car drivers in Ahmedabad city are causing one accident after another in such a way that they have no fear of the police or the law. Two innocent youths were killed when the driver of a car, who was driving recklessly in an inebriated condition, met with an accident on Naroda Dahegam road in the city. The driver of the car was at such a high speed that the stones placed on the divider's place jumped and the car was thrown in the air and two youths died on the spot after hitting the Activa coming on the opposite side. The driver of the car was in an inebriated state and was eating lathis when locals caught hold of him. The police are currently investigating the driver of the car. The two Activa drivers were hit by a Creta car which killed the two youths on the spot. People in the vicinity pulled the driver of the Creta car, Gopal Patel, out of the car and beat him up. Gopal was then handed over to the police. Names of deceased youth Amit Rathod, 26 Vishal Rathod, 27-year-old car driver was under the influence of alcohol - Ahmedabad Rural SP Ahmedabad rural DSP Om Prakash Jat said the driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol. The car driver had left Zak village in an inebriated state with the car.
