But a security supervisor presented his side that when the thief broke the glass of the parked car at night and stole it, the security personnel also opened fire in front of him. 'Firm employees didn't respond to me': Complainant
Piyushbhai Shantilal Mehta said, "We had come to Ambaji to have darshan of Dada. I am a native of Vav and currently live in Surat. I had come here from Surat to have darshan of Ambaji Dada. That's when we came to Jain Derasar. Then the employees of the firm here did not respond to me. Despite having a room, the room was not given and asked to stay in the hall. My son and daughter are scheduled to take diksha on December 14. Since there were other people in the hall, the luggage was kept in the car.
We came here at night and stayed in the hall as there was no room. Due to the presence of other people in the hall, all my belongings and jewellery were left in the car, which led to this incident. We have received a very good response from the administration and the police here. We are getting the support of harsh sanghvi and all the relatives including our relatives. What happened that night?
The security supervisor, who is on duty at Jain Derasar Kumbhariya Ambaji, said, "We are working at vishal security agency in Ahmedabad. In which a total of 16 people are serving in security. Two of them are gunmen and one is a supervisor and the other is a guard. We have all the visitors who come here to have darshan and stay the night. We suggest to them to take your luggage with you to the room, then put the car in the parking lot. Even when Piyushbhai's car arrived at night, we suggested that you take your luggage to the room and then put the car in the parking lot. 'Everything was safe till the time the car was put in the parking lot': Security supervisor
Piyushbhai then left his car in the parking lot and went to the room. We were alerted when we were whistled by our guard around 1 am. We saw that two persons who seemed suspicious had gone to inspect the place. There was also firing by our guard. We then informed our manager and parked the vehicle in the parking lot in front of the office. Till then everything was safe. Appeal of Ambaji Police
Banaskantha District DySP Dr Jignesh Gamit said, "Piyushbhai had come here from Surat for darshan. At that time, he had parked the car in the parking lot at Jain Derasar. On The 6th, the smugglers broke the rear glass of their car and stole gold and silver ornaments, including Rs 1.5 lakh in cash. His complaint has also been registered at ambaji police station. After this, the Ambaji police formed 8 different teams and started the investigation with the help of Dog Scott. In which we are also getting good success. On behalf of Banaskantha district police, I also make a statement to all the passengers coming to Ambaji that they should not put their valuables in the car, they should keep the valuables with them or in a safe place.
