57 gamblers, including 23 women, arrested in Jamnagar city and district

Jamnagar Gambling News : After the month of Shravan was full of gambling elements in Jamnagar district, bhadarva has also been full, and gambling is being played every day. Along with men, women are still in the field. Police conducted raids at 11 different places in Jamnagar city as well as Lalpur and Jodiya. A total of 57 persons, including 23 women, were arrested and rs 2.38 lakh in cash was seized from them. During the raid, three persons were declared absconders.

Based on a tip-off that women were gambling in house number 267/3 on the last street of Satya Sai Nagar in Gulabnagar in Jamnagar, the police raided the spot. Where the landlord Bhavikaben Ajaybhai Srivastava, Rekhaben Rameshbhai Wara, Rabiaben Zahidbhai Qadri, Savitaben Pravinbhai Madhvi, Yukitben Hiteshbhai Chauhan, Kanchanba Bharatsinh Jadeja, Kanchanba Motisinh Jadeja and Ritaba Chandrasinh Jadeja, who were gambling in the house of Bhavikaben Ajaybhai Srivastava, were arrested.

While three women named Shobhanaben Bhupatbhai Gohil, Rajalben Bhupatbhai Gohil and Ranjanben Ashokbhai Sitapara, who were gambling with ganjipana in Madhuram Society located behind Navagam Ghed in the city, were picked up and cash was recovered from them. 1390 was captured.

While ganpatnagar, behind Aarav Building, near Hanuman's temple, ramilaben Gulabbhai Mahida, Nathubhai Devabhai Chavda, Meghjibhai Ramjibhai Bochia, Prakashbhai Vijaybhai Parmar were arrested with the pages of Ganjipana in public and rs. 2690 in cash was seized from them.

Apart from this, five women named Chetanaba Chauhan, Dimpleben Borsamania, Sonalben Narubhai Borsamania, Ritaben Mayurgiri Goswami and Jayshreeben Narubhai Borsania, who were gambling with the pages of Ganjipana in public behind the temple of Karthik Swami in Hapa of the city, were arrested and rs 4640 in cash was seized from them.

Six persons, including Shilpaben Vikrambhai Varaniya, Lakhuben Hansrajbhai Jhandariya, Ravinaben Vijaybhai Kathia, Dhirajben Bhikhubhai Rathod, Ramaben Deepakbhai Parmar and Jaipal Jayeshbhai Chavda, who were gambling in public near Moti Park, Hanuman Temple in the railway station area in Hapa, were arrested and rs 4630 in cash was seized from them.

Apart from this, the police raided the gambling going on in the residential house of Kishorebhai Shambhubhai Purbiya living in Vayunagar Plot No. 333, Street No. 3, Indira Road of Jamnagar. A total of Rs 1.60 lakh in cash, including Rs 710 in cash, has been seized.

Five persons identified as Noghabhai Lakhmanbhai Dhrangu, Merubhai Samatbhai Ambaliya, Naranbhai Palabhai Chavda, Bhimabhai Rajshibhai Badiyavadara, Harpalsinh Ajitsinh Jadeja, who were gambling with ganjipana in public on the banks of Nehrunagar behind New Indira Colony in the city, were caught and rs 10,280 in cash was seized from them.

On the basis of information that a person named Nathabhai Devabhai Solanki, who lives in Bhendwali Wadi, Yadavnagar, Jamnagar, was gambling in his house, the police raided. Five persons identified as Nathabhai Devabhai Solanki, Naranbhai Darubhai Nandania, Mangabhai Lakhmanbhai Makwana, Somabhai Arshibhai Vasra and Ravjibhai Balabhai Jambusha were arrested and rs 2,790 in cash was seized from them.

Apart from this, four persons named Kalpesh Nathabhai Solanki, Vijay Markhibhai Karmur, Dilip Bhojabhai Karmur and Dinesh Chandubhai Gohil, who were gambling in the name of Ron Police near Hanuman Temple in Yadavnagar, were arrested and rs 20,180 in cash was seized from them. 

Apart from this, two persons named Dinesh Parsotambhai Dhamecha and Vinod Mohanbhai Dhamecha, who were gambling in public in Kolivas at Jodiya, were arrested and rs. 2930 in cash was seized from them. During the raid, two persons named Amit Manilal Dhamecha and Ajay Mohanbhai Dhamecha were declared absconders and a search is on for them.
