Vadodara Crocodile Rescue : In Vadodara city, crocodiles are roaming wherever they are. Now a five-foot crocodile was rescued near the main artificial lake of Ganpati Visarjan in Vadodara.
In Vadodara, which has become a city of crocodiles, there are incidents of crocodiles being found from residential areas every day. In the last 15 days, around 50 crocodiles have been rescued by the forest department and Jeev Daya activists.
Three days ago, a 10-foot crocodile had come in public near Kalaghoda, the most congested kalaghoda in Vadodara, causing traffic jams. Earlier, the biggest crocodile of 15 feet was rescued near the door of a house near Fatehganj Narhari Hospital.
Meanwhile, as the Vadodara administration was preparing for Ganpati visarjan, two youths, who were working on lights near the main artificial lake Navlakhi, came early this morning and climbed on to the pillar. After informing the Jeev Daya activists, they rescued the crocodile and handed it over to the forest department.
