A self-proclaimed witchdoctor, Navalsinh Chavda, died in police custody after confessing to 12 murders across Gujarat. He poisoned victims, including family members, under the guise of rituals and remedies. His arrest came after a taxi driver, whose brother was a victim, uncovered Chavda's plot to kill a businessman.
