A pride of lions, including a lioness and several sub-adults, has been spotted in Diu, raising concerns among forest officials. The pride, believed to have crossed over from Gujarat, has already killed a domestic animal. While the lioness has been captured, efforts are underway to secure the remaining sub-adults and relocate them to prevent human-animal conflicts in the limited territory.
