Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner M Thennarasan has mandated that all residential and commercial buildings over 15 years old must submit structural stability certificates within 15 days. Despite the rule first being introduced in 2014 and reiterated in 2017, no certificates have been submitted yet. The AMC is now considering steps to enforce compliance with this regulation.
