10 forms cancelled in Wankaner-Halvad municipality elections: 7 forms including 1 from BJP in Wankaner, 3 forms including 2 of Congress-BSP in Halvad canceled

Important developments have come to light after the scrutiny of nomination papers for the elections to Wankaner and Halvad municipalities in Morbi district. Out of the total 128 filled forms, 10 forms have been canceled. A total of 53 forms were filled for 28 seats of 7 wards of Wankaner municipality. In ward number 7, the form of a BJP woman candidate has been canceled due to having more than two children. The other six forms have been cancelled due to lack of party mandate. In ward number 1, four BJP candidates have been declared uncontested. The ward-wise number of forms approved is as follows: 4 in ward-1, 9 in ward-2, 8 in ward-3, 8 in ward-4, 5 in ward-5, 6 in ward-6 and 6 in ward-7. In Halvad municipality, a total of 3 forms, including one each of Congress and BSP, have been canceled. Tuesday is the last day for withdrawal of forms after which the final picture of the election will be clear. Similarly, in Halvad municipality, a total of 75 leaders had filed their nominationpapers for 28 seats. In this, a total of 3 forms have been canceled, including a woman candidate of BSP from ward number 2, one congress candidate from ward number 4 and dummy candidate of Congress from ward number 7. However, talking about the valid form, 9 leaders in ward number 1, 9 in ward number 2, 12 in ward number 3, 8 in ward number 4, 10 in ward number 5, 13 in ward number 6 and 11 leaders in ward number 7 are included. Thus, there will be a fight between the BJP, Congress, BSP and Aam Aadmi Party in halvad municipality elections. It is now visible and Tuesday is the last day to draw forms, so that there is no room for doubt that the picture of elections for both the municipalities will be clear tomorrow evening.
