Built at a cost of about Rs 5 crore, the modern library will have facilities like a large reading room, stack area, two class rooms, two computer labs, cubicles, store and reference department, lounge area and seminar hall for students. In the old library, where only 100 students could sit, in the new library, 250 to 300 students will be able to read simultaneously. The special thing is that the facility of e-library will also be available in the new library, in which e-resource subscription of Rs 45 lakh has been arranged. Through which the student will be able to read the research work of researchers from home and abroad. Students who want to download these sources will be able to get this information by logging in from their email ID. The new library has been built entirely in accordance with the standards of 'Universal Design' so that it will be more accessible to all students. It is certain that from the academic year 2025-26, the new library will start for all the students. However, there is a possibility that it can start in 10 to 15 days.
