33 resolutions unanimously approved in bhavnagar municipal standing committee meeting

A meeting of the standing committee was held behind closed doors under the chairmanship of the chairman on Saturday evening at the municipal hall, in which three resolutions of the garden department were canceled after reviewing 34 resolutions. The garden department had resolved to hire men from another agency instead of a recognised agency, so the chairman reprimanded the garden department official and quashed all the three resolutions. The CORPORATION had suggested to give the work only to the approved agency. Apart from this, two resolutions were made from the chair, in which Rs. 10,000 crore has been allocated for the repair of potholes on the roads of the city. An expenditure of Rs 5.54 lakh was sanctioned. The potholes on the road will be repaired with coldmix injection potholes repairing machine in the city. This machine is used in Ahmedabad and Rajkot Corporation, so the Bhavnagar Corporation has also decided to use this machine.

Even though the work is not done within the time limit, strict steps are not taken by the CORPORATION.
