Cloudy weather over Mahuva, 5 inches of rain in 6 hours

Mahuva: This year too, the clouds have been kind to Mahuva. For the first time in the last phase of Ashadh, in just six hours, torrential five inches of water rained down, creating scenes like water. Five inches of rain may have also submerged roads, half the wheels of vehicles were submerged in water. Meghraja's innings in Mahuva was a stormy innings. On the other hand, six other talukas of the district received five inches of water.

Meghraja's torrential innings began after 10 hours this morning in Mahuva. Five inches (123 mm) of rain fell within six hours as the sky-clad Kaladibang clouds rained heavily from dawn to four hours in the evening. Apart from Mahuva, villages including Jadra, Bhadra, Amrutvel, Dundas, Malia, Dudheri, Katpar, Nikol in the taluka were also flooded with rainwater in the low-lying areas and markets of the city-villages. Due to which there was a huge impact on public life as well as on vehicular traffic. Some areas were flooded as if they had turned into a river. In areas including Swaminarayan Chowk, Market Road, Hospital Road, College Road in the city, the sewer line was blocked and motorists had to suffer a setback. On the other hand, due to the work of the National Highway in Longdi village, water entered the houses of people living in low-lying areas. This question has been there for a long time, even though the villagers have made written and oral representations to the National Highway Authority, Mahuva Mamlatdar, the problem is not being resolved.

Apart from Mahuva, Meghraja also made an appearance in six talukas of the district today. This includes more than five inches (8 mm) in Sehore, four mm in Gariadhar, five mm in Palitana, five inches in Talaja (6 mm), three mm in Jesar. And one mm in the evening in Bhavnagar. It was cloudy.

1.25 inches of rain in Barwala Panthak

Meghraja rained more than 1.25 inches of water on Saturday at Barwala Panthak in Botad district. Due to which there was a problem of rain water logging in many areas of the city. In addition to Barwala town, in the rural areas of the taluka, there was a chill in the atmosphere as Meghraja rained havoc. Five mm in Gadhada too. The water had rained. In Botad and Ranpur, there was a cloudcover for eight hours tonight.
