Junagarh: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has given in-principle approval to the development plan of Rs 114 crore for various development works of girnar, a famous tourist and pilgrimage site. Under these development works, development works of Bhavanath Talati as well as development works ranging from Taleti to Gorakhnath and Dattatreya will be undertaken. Not only this, the new steps will be expanded by widening the pathway 3 meters on both sides on the pattern of pilgrimage pavagadh. He gave this in-principle approval at a high-level meeting of the Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board chaired by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel
Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera, in-principle approval was given under this development plan to set up all the basic facilities from the foothills of The Girnar Mountain to Dattatreya Short as well as to make arrangements for water and electricity on Girnar
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel   was also proposed by the Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board that development works of renovation, repair and basic amenities should be carried out at a total cost of Rs. 48 crore in a total of 22 and big pilgrimage centers of the state. He has given in-principle approval to all the proposals presented in this meeting by the Holy Pilgrimage Development Board to the Chief Minister. Not only this, chief minister Bhupendra Patel also made some important suggestions by reviewing the development works of Ambaji, Pavagadh and Dwarka pilgrimage sites
He instructed the concerned organizers to make a strong plan so that the pilgrims do not face any inconvenience in the lok mela of the upcoming Bhadarvi Poonam, which is to be held at Ambajidham in the month of September. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also urged the Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board to motivate the pilgrims coming to every pilgrimage site to maintain cleanliness with the goal of 'Swachhata There Prabhuta' to maintain cleanliness > in the pilgrimage sites<
